2014 outlander PHEV
Folks wondering if anyone would have a suggestion on what might be going on. I bought a 2014 outlander PHEV several months ago, first hybrid. the last couple of weeks the electric engine hasnt been kicking in 90% of the time, at the moment i have a charge of 30KM and the engine isnt changing to electric, maybe briefly when im parking the car, its still on petrol when im stopped at traffic lights. also noticed the brake pads could be set to B5 and they are no stronger than B1 so they wont really help charging the car. and then lastly the fuel meter seems to be inaccurate it jumped from 30KM to 21KM on the battery side and then back after 5 minutes, this is probably nothing but ive never seen that happen before. Any tips or suggesytions would be appreciated.

One idea, these thing will force you on the fuel engine when it calculate the fuel is getting too old.
The solution is to burn some and refuel the car I think there might be a mean to know the the car is refuelled with fresh gas.
