First of all, I've never had one bit of trouble with this vehicle. Today the battery system needs service light came on. So I immediately started home. Within minutes, a warning came on saying that my engine was over heating and that I should safely pull over. My temperature gauge was going up to hot as well. However, the engine itself did not feel hot. I pulled over and shut the car off for several minutes. When I started it up the temper was normal but the battery system light was on. The same engine overheating light came on within 2 minutes. I pulled over again. I repeated this process two more times. The third time nearly every warning light on the dashboard came on. I made it home. But the engine still wasn't hot. Ideas? It has 94,000 miles and has never given me a problem until now.
