2015 Mitsubishi Outlander SE Speaker Wiring
I recently upgraded my 6.5 inch speakers on my Outlander SE and I couldnt find a proper wiring diagram so I thought I'd help out by posting proper polarity
of wires to speakers.
This is for Non Nav and Non Rockford Headunits.
To the life of me I cannot remember all the colors for positive but that is ok because if you take a look at driver and passenger side front and rear doors all of them will have one wire in common which on my model is the Blue colored wire. The Blue wires turns out the be the Ground and the positive will be the opposite. Example will be that the Drivers side door is Red/Blue wire combo, Red is Positive, Blue is Neg, Brown/Blue. Brown Positive, Blue Neg.
Thought Id enlighten a few out there if you are ever of thinking of upgrading your stock door speakers. To mount the speakers because of the whole turn style mounting system I used these Universal lift rings.
American International SG600DX Universal 1" liftrings for 5-1/4" or 6-1/2" speakers at Crutchfield.com
All you do is uninstall the stock speaker, Place the life ring and drill a small tap, Screw in 1 1/4 inch automotive screws and install your new speakers.
Thanks
