2016 outlander sport died while pulling up to stop sign
Hello all. So I have a 2016 outlander sport. 5 speed manual. New to me about 3 weeks ago. It has started doing strange things up to the dying. About a week ago when the traction control was doing its thing I got a service break system message. Has happened a few times. Also I’ll get in and start it and the radio will have reset and time is wrong and presets are gone. So today I take it out of gear and start to slow down to stop at a stop sign and the best way to describe it would be like losing power at your home during a storm. It flickered the dash lights then Motor died and completely dead. No head lights no nothing. I get it off the road. I call someone about getting me and I can hear like clicking noises would be the best way to describe it coming from the left side under the dash. Then there is a flicker of movement by the wipers then the car powered back
on like the battery was unhooked and someone reconnected the cable. It started right up and drove normally to my destination 2 hrs away. So im looking for things to check when I get home. Thanks
