Default 2018 Outlander PHEV - GPS function
What is the purpose or value of the GPS function on the 2018 Outlander PHEV Audio monitor since there is no navigation system available? Are there plans for it in the future?

The screen is just a flashy gimmick to look at. The reason for the GPS function is for the Android Auto/CarPlay feature. Those have navigation apps. Saves the phone from using its gps.
