Default 2019 Outlander poor handling in rain and slipping.

Ever since I bought the car I noticed that it loses traction easily in the rain. Every so often when it's raining on the freeway it feels as if the car is losing traction. I'm not sure if ABS is kicking on as well but I had this issue with two separate brands of tires. I'm not sure if there's an issue with the vehicle weight or the tire size but I have never experienced this with a car before. Is this car sensitive to road conditions? What are good tires. This car has been extremely reliable and doesn't burn any oil. I'm just concerned if this will be a safety issue because I have spun out before in a different car. This car is a front wheel drive model 4 cylinder. Maybe there's too much torque at lower RPM? The funny thing is if I slam on the brakes in the rain it stops on a dime so I don't know what is it when driving forward

Default Try driving in EV mode only

Do you use EV mode? Try that - perhaps your personal acceleration preferences (aka. “Lead Foot”) are a tad heavy?
