Default Automatic volume control

I have an 2010 XLS, great vehicle, but I can't seem to have the automatic volume control to work. I did read through all the manuals and still, I do not see any difference. Does anybody has the same problem ?

Tks, Ray

I also have a 2010 XLS with no Nav just the standard Fostgate radio head.

When I purchased the dealer told me the auto adjust was not the greatest!!

Just in case yours is actually turned off, I fished the section on how to turn it on / off

This is to be done with any source but Sirius as they use the same button for their own purpose.

Press on the RH button for 2 seconds and the state of the auto volume will show on the screen, SCV on or off.
To change just turn the button slowly and it should switch back and forth.
Just press on the button to exit

Tks man ! I do have the Nav ( and love it!) I suspect that you are right, it is probably not the greatest because my Nav system is telling me that it is on but I don't see any differences....

Tks for your reply
