Have you checked the inside of the arm rest, this is where mine is.

Two RCA Jacks (for audio only) if you have video there might be 3 jacks.

At least this is what Aux is in my Outie and it work, I tried.

Adapters will most probably be needed if you device has a 3.5 mm output.

Elegance is a UK spec so you will find the RCA sockets at the bottom of the rear of the centre console (ahead of where a rear centre passenger's feet would be). They are covered by a plastic panel that you need to open. HTH.....NDJ

My 2008 UK spec Elegance didn’t have the socket fitted as standard. I pulled the rear panel off the arm rest that ndj mentioned and found the multi-plug pushed into it. I bought the Aux plug from the local Mitsubishi dealer and plugged it in to the multi-plug, selected Aux on the MMCS and plugged my MP3 player into the red & white sockets and got sound through the speakers straight away! If you find the multi-plug hidden behind the rear panel like mine you’ll need:

8750A047 - Audio & video adapter - £39.94+vat
8011A169XA - Rear Panel with insert for adapter - £77.00+vat approx

I thought the rear panel was a shocking amount so I didn’t buy it (the chap said it looked like Mitsubishi had never sold one in the UK!) hence the approximate price. I decided to tuck the Aux adapter into the void with my RCA lead attached (making sure it didn’t foul the handbrake cable!) and popped the original rear panel on, leaving the 3.5mm jack plug end of my cable trailing through into the front. Hope this helps!

Has any body got any info on how you get the rear panel off?

Mine is the 2008 Diamond which doesn't have the connector cover as it's using the connections for the rear screen.

There appears to be a button at the bottom on each side, but they cant be pushed in.

Can anyone please advise the procedure for getting these off?

Many thanks.

I found by just tucking your fingers underneath the bottom of the panel and pulling slowly it came off no problems, then just work your fings slowly up eaither side of the panel , again pulling gently, its held in place with aprox 6 plastic clips.
