I know the dvd while driving works because I did that already. Works perfectly and I love it. Great for having a 3 year old in the back. Now the question is for you software guys is there a way to program the head unit again so I can use the aux outlet for my ipod and play movies on of that too? Just like the dvd player while driving.

 

I think they are working on it right now, but I am not too sure.

 

Otaku is working on it. He has a real job to..... He said its not as simple as the DVD patch. And from what I understand from the bits and pieces from the 60+ pages of the dvd patch thread, is that he is also working on making the MMCS more customizable (ie. graphics, options, personalization) that would be realeased all in one with the AUX patch.

 

I have checked in on that thread every now and then, and if there was a way to make the MMCS more customizable, that would be awesome!

 

Yea I havent been on in awhile and I wasnt going to waste hours reading a 60 pages hoping to find the aux info haha. Im glad we have someone that does computer programing on here. I wouldnt know where to start with the dvd patch let alone everything else.
