Hi all! I have an '07 Outlander with MMCS system. I had previously applied the DVD play while driving patch, but always assumed the AUX would not play either video or audio due to all the posts about trying to get AUX to work. Just for grins and giggles I plugged my iPhone into the aux panel on the bottom back of the center console today and although the display shows the cannot display while in motion message, audio plays just fine. Perhaps an odd thing is that there is no video input there, only the white/red audio jacks. Is this normal operation or did the previous owner custom wire this somehow?

 

Was the sound clear and loud. Where did you get the cable from.
