The car just came out so I don't know how desperate your local dealership is but if you can get it at invoice price it should not be a bad deal. If you can afford to wait few more weeks then I am more than sure dealers will become more flexible with pricing of Outlander Sport. I never buy cars that just came out as from experience I know I will not get as great of a deal as lets say wait a bit and if car is not selling as well or dealers have big inventories then they become a bit softer.

Also consider that 1st generation models tend to have most issues come out. Revised models normally get the kinks fixed from the owner reports of the initial roll out.

MSRP for 2WD Outlander Sport CVT is $20,775 + taxes + registration fees and stuff. Is $20,500 the FINAL out of the door price that includes all the applicable sales taxes/fees? If yes then it doesn't sound too bad. If not then this is definitely not a good deal, I would wait, possibly go to another dealership. Also, while free oil changes for life sound good, it only applies to one dealership that you've originally purchased the Outlander from, so if your dealer goes out of business, chances are, the free oil will not be free anymore. Besides, here in NJ an oil change at my local dealership is around $25 (it costs the dealership less than that obviously), so its like $100 per year which I don't consider to be a lot and I am more than sure they will not use any premium synthetic oil, just basic stuff.

If its out of the door TOTAL price then its a decent deal considering that the car just came out on the market. Also, if they don't want to budge on the final price maybe bust their chops on some add-on accessories if you have something in mind.
