Bleeping Outlander alarm

Default Bleeping Outlander alarm
My 08 Outlander Cobra alarm has started bleeping after its been set. I set the alarm on the remote and the indicators do the normal 3 flashes, then now they flash 3 times more and it bleeps at the same time. Has anyone any ideas what is causing this ?
