Hi Everyone, just curious if anyone in the Edmonton, Alberta Canada or Canada or North America has had a remote car starter installed for their 08 XLS Outlander.

I am looking for a Text to Start car starter or something you can call your Outlander with.

Just looking for ideas

 

The Japanese model has a remote car starter... hence why your 08's mysterious empty spot on your remote control (the north American version only has 2 silver buttons the Japanese has a third one which is the remote start).

So, I am sure you should be able to find a remote starter kit for the outlander...

 

yeah you can have one put in by the dealer. i think it runs about $700 if you have the fastkey system. at least thats what i recall being quoted.
