Blown panel lights and lock is acting up

Blown panel lights and lock is acting up
Hi there,
Own an Out 2006. I have a problerm with some lights gone in the panel where A/C controls are located. First the one on the right was gone. I hit it a couple of times with open hand and the light came back,then suddenly the other side was gone. Not sure what is going on. Also the back door on the driver side is acting up. All started at the time the first panel lights were gone. Is there a relationship between the two events?
I tried to search for similar posts but no luck. I would appreciate any help.
