I still wonder how you get it "locked" in the first place. Weird. Good thing it didn't happen to me.

OEM spareparts are really expensive, looking at how they are produced in such limited number, and most of these items are special orders. Manufacturer's don't stock these items. Even original aftermarket accessories. Take the Navi kit as an example. If it was sold in the open market like your usual modular car stereo, it would probably cost 1/3 of its price from the dealer.

If you buy anything from the dealer they up the price big time. Most of the electronic parts I understand but stupid little stuff there is no reason for. Electronic OEM parts are usually way higher quality. But 50$ floor mats you can buy at walmart for 20$ is dumb.

god bless the little things tho...
like paying out the *** so you can get a damn label/sticker/emblem/embriodered patch, that says "Mitsubishi", or "OUTLANDER"

I wonder if pushing and holding the call and hang up buttons together (red and green phone buttons on the dash) until the system says "Erasing Memory", would work.

While i love the idea of the BT system...ours is a little quirky.

I can't get two phones paired at the same time. I made sure to delete all phones/codes to just re-pair my wife's which worked for a couple weeks then started to not be recognized by the BT system. I subsequently deleted her pairing so no phones are paired, but now when her phone gets within 15 feet of the 'lander (when it's in gear & running)the annoying voice over lady jumps in announcing "it's unsafe to pair phones while driving, pairing failed."

It's very irritating, mostly because it's so loud, but also because i deleted her phone twicealready. Hopefully your new module will fix your issues. I'll be heading to the dealer if mine persist.

I've got the exact same issue with my 07 outlander now. Does anyone have any additional information? I really don't want to have to take it to the dealer for such a simple operation.

I still have this problem with my outlander. Has anyone been able to figure out how to reset the hands free system?
