Bluetooth stopped working. Any ideas?
Also, I opened the module box and took a look at the circuit board. The intermittent functioning could also be caused by the solder cracking from one of the traces on the board. The solder joints where the the cable pins are soldered into the board seem like the most suspect. It's a difficult soldering job as the components are surface mounted and the solder joints of the pins are very small, but if you use a magnifying glass and a very thin tipped soldering iron, you could pull it off. Maybe, just try to re-solder/re-heat the bead of solder that's already on the joint where the pin goes into the board and it will be enough.

Hi did you mamage to fix your problem I have a 2010 Lancer GTS and the BT module was not working and draining the battery, I unplugged it and the heatsink was hot, my battery problem has be resolved but I tried 2 BT modules got from the scrap yard and both did not work, I don't know if they were defective. Could be a problem with the button on the steering wheel? Has anyone been able to fix it by replacing column buttons unit? Any help would be helpfull.
