Brake Pads
I always stay with a nwme brand-Wagner or Raybestos. NAPA pads are made by Wagner, if I remember correctly.
I am not a fan of anything from AutoZone. They package (do not make their own product) on all the DuraLast line. They want to sell you on the warranty not the quality of product.

Thats fine with me. Never had an issue with the pads/shoes I have purchased from them. I also like the lifetime warranty. I had a sticking wheel cylinder on my Sebring and it burned up the shoes a week after I bought them. They replaced them for free even though it was not technically a failure of the shoes. Worked for me.
Go to RockAuto and grab the Wagner Thermo Quiets. Total came to $57...then you mail in a rebate for $30. You can get quality pads for $27 shipped. This weekend will my my Outtie's 2nd set. First set at 75k miles...these are done at 142.5k with the rears having little material left.
First, why would you pay someone to do what is essentially a 2 hour job you could do yourself with some basic hand tools? Secondly, if you cant do it, expect to pay @$100 a set for labor which is the going rate for a brake job around here in NC, and thats pad replacement only.
Paying someone to change your brakes is like paying someone to put gas in your car.
I like Hawk brake pads, and I've used just about every brand of brake pad. I've used every kind of brake pad that EBC makes, and only the Yellowstuff is worth a damn. Autozone are total garbage, O'Rilley is garbage, and any 'ceramic' pad is garbage.
You shouldn't be able to get brakes to fade with one stomp on the brakes. If you're doing 90 and slow down to 40, then have brake fade... you need to get those pads off your car.
