You might have to buy/borrow/rent a tool to rotate the rear caliper pistons back. Not sure as I haven't had one long enough to put pads on it.

Someone with more experience with these chime in.

You can "rent" a brake set from most anywhere, by "rent" you pay for the whole kit and then get it back when you return it. I've found a good pair of needle nose pliers works great in a pinch, but with owning so many vehicles now, I just ordered one off ebay. Cost me like $30 and it has adapters for all makes and models of calipers that have to be turned in when pushing.

none of the Outlander caliper pistons spin as they move. Some channel lock pliers is all that is needed to compress the piston back in. this weekend I'll be changing my pads as well.

Grand Am calipers do spin...learned that the hard way!
