Changed my CVT fluid, surprised to see 5.5 quarts came out. Before the change it seemed the fluid was always in the H even when cold. I think it was previously over filled but seemed to drive Ok. I put 4.5 quarts back in which puts it well into H still when hot. Thoughts on fluid change amount and old CVT fluid condition? Last change was 30K miles ago. I did jack it up a little (6” or so) on the driver side for the drain.

I think the service manual states it’s only approximately 3.5 L for a drain and fill, then check levels and adjust as needed.
