I gave my fabric seats 3 coatings of 3M Scotch Guard for fabrics
(Supposedly you only need to do that every 6-8 months) all I need to do to clean them is get a wet towel or towel paper and that's it. The Scotch Guard keeps any liquids from soaking and absorving all the way into the foam. It's worth the investment...

I had actually Scotchgarded the whole car a couple of days before she spilled something.
Didn't rub too hard..
Used a damp towel.
Can the cushion material be purchased somewhere new?
