Default cleaning headliner

I've managed to get bike chain grease on the headliner in the rear of my very new outlander while stuffing my bike into the back (i gotta get a hitch to put my rack on soon!!!). Any "super" cleaners out there that can fix this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Funny thing is that the same exact thing happened to me. I used regular old vehicle upholstry cleaner, its a spray can with a brush at the end, took everything out. However it did leave a marck, that wont come off, not a stain but it looks like it fussed out, the fabric seems to be made of cardboard and cloth material, so go easy on the scrubing.

Don't laugh too hard, but I've used baby wipes for normal grime.. Grease could be nasty. I'd blot off as much as possible before scrubbing

Baby wipes work on everything. I carry them in my car.

Happened to me too. After seeing that crazy UK Outlander video of the guy putting his bike on the cargo space, I tried doing the same thing. The handle bars scratched the headliner without the slightest effort. Good thing I saw it before I shoved the thing in. After that, I bought the strap-on bike carrier. The roof rack mounted carriers would have been ideal but I wanted to buy OEM parts so I'm still hoping MMNA will soon sell these. But I imagine it would be tough to mount those bikes on the roof rack. Though the ones I have are supposed to be "lightweight", it's by no means light if you have to lift it above five feet.

Thanks guys. I'll blot as much as I can with the baby wipes (we buy them in 1000pc packages) then give it a go with prosolve, which I've used to remove red wine from a white carpet with some success. No scrubbing...no scrubbing...no scrubbing.

How similar do you think black shoe polish is? My son got it on his pants and the shout wipes took it out like it was never there. Granted it was done within the hour but it may be a shot if nothing else works.
