Since the 2.4L Outlander (07+) is essentially the same engine as the 09+ Lancer GTS 2.4L, does it make sense that aftermarket parts should be interchangeable?

I'm looking at getting a cold air intake and ECU flash as my first two power upgrades (and probably my only ones, since I don't want to touch the exhaust to make it any louder).

It looks like the Injen CAI has pretty good reviews, and I was looking at the Works Eco-Tune:

I haven't contacted Works about the tune yet, but I was just wondering if anyone else has used Lancer GTS parts on their Outtie 2.4L??
