Considering a 2007-2010 Outlander, pros/cons?

Keep this in mind about years. '07-'09 are non-interference engines as they have dimples in the pistons...so you can break your timing belt without destroying the engine. In '10 they removed the dimples to increase compression/power. so instead of 220hp, 2010 3.0L gets 230hp.
Getting ready to buy an '07 Outlander pushing that 100k point and a breakdown is tolerable -- but a blown engine certainly ain't.
Mind me asking what you paid for the belt install? Where? Thanks. I'm in KC, too.

I did the change myself...so only cost of gatorback timing, accessory, and p/s belts. Also did spark plugs too.
there has been discussion in the past about the interference or not. Looking at the '07 service manual show divots in the pistons where the valves would be. In 2010, compression was increased to up the output horsepower...guess what they did to get the higher compression?
