I have a 2012 outlander. I cannot find a source of coolant leak. It will start running hot about 30 min of driving. I have to stop and let it cool down, then refill the coolant atleast 1/2 a gallon. I have not been able to find out where the coolant is leaking. The oil is good, the exhaust pipe is dry. I cannot find any water dripping anywhere. Is there any suggestions as to why or where it might be leaking?

 

Can you smell it?

 

Does the coolant overflow / pressure-relief tank level look normal? (maybe just need new thermostat)

Does the engine oil look normal, or does it look foamy and at a higher level than normal? (head gastket failure)
