Creaking sound from front and back - Outlander 2010
I have a 2010 Outlander SE.
Since the time I bought it, it has been making this sick creaking sound from the third row seat. I showed it to the dealer and he said that thats the way it is in all the cars . Its very annoying. Does anybody knows how to fix it ?
Also since yesterday I have started hearing a louder creaking noise from the front. I first thought it was the dashboard but on closer inspection I think its the plastic thingie which is between the hood and the front window. Can I go to any Mitsubishi dealer and ask them to fix it for free as the vehicle is still under warranty ?

Take it back to the moron dealer and ask the dumb bastard if Mitsubishi paid an engineer to have "all them make the same noise".
I love that line. It just shows how stupid and lazy these idiots are. Mitsu pays FULL LIST PRICE for warranty work and DOESN'T complain. Warranty work is a cash cow.
Or find a new dealer that isn't as stupid and lazy as that one is.

The plastic creaking between the hood and front window: Could be due to the cold? Don't know where you are, but mine is doing that this week under extreme cold conditions, especially if there's ice stuck in that cowl. I'm also getting creaking this week from the front, which I think is either the struts reacting to the extreme cold, or possibly the ball joints.
