Default Dark Grey XLS (Black Interior)

Hi all, first off I love this forum, its helped me answer many questions I had prior to purchasing my Outlander.

I have an 08 Dark Grey XLS w/ Nav and I am wondering what everyone is using to clean their interior.

I bought an Armor-all cleaning kit (Cleaning wipes, Oxy clean carpet cleaner, shimmering rub, Protectant wipes, Glass cleaner), it seems that with the dash and the little bumps that I cannot properly get a decent shine without some sort of streak or smear. I have now tried 4 different types of cleaners (both spray and pre soaked cloths) and I still can't get the streaks out, don't get me wrong the interior looks amazing and shiny, but there are still some streaks.

Just wondering if anyone with detailing experience or if anyone has a "secret" cleaner or method they use. I am not a clean freak, but damn does this vehicle look sweet when its shined up (both interior and exterior)

I appreciate any input

Jay

I have a 07 XLS and all I've been using to clean the dash since it as texture to it is a wet cloth because Like you found out the hard way dash detailing product are not the best on the outie dash since it's matte an as a texturized plastic.

I haven't tried it on the outtie but some use a woolite:water mixture in 4:1 and 10:1 concentrations. Cheap and effective because it can be used on all surfaces.

Armor all non greasy wipes on the plastics when needed. Gets the lint/dust that collects off and leaves a nice shine. I can't complain about the wipes at all. Meguiars leather wipes. I buy the spray too and do the seats and arm rest real good. Try to keep them soft and crack free. Hopefully it helps with sun damage.

Armor All makes a spray called "Natural Finish Detailer Protectant" that works GREAT on the dash.
