Default Daytime running lights

Hi, I bought a 2013 Outlander Sport back in March and have been trying to figure this out since then. My Outlander came with the LED daytime running lights installed from Mitsubishi on the bottom bumper. They come on ONLY when the headlights are off.

My question is, is there a way to have my headlights on AND my daytime running lights (led strips) on at the same time?

Thanks in advance!

Do you have fog lights? If so, they are wired like that because most states limit the number of forward facing lights.

You can probably change it via the ETACS settings or re-wire them.

If Outlander Sport DRLs are wired same way as on full-size Outlander - it is possible through ETACS setting. My DRLs are set up to be always on.

Yes, Burtonrider10022, I do have fog lights as well.
How can I get into the ETACS settings? Do I need an external computer to make changes?

Yes.
Or find someone local offering this service (filling in location in your forum profile really helps).

Sorry about the long response, had a very busy week.
I'm located near Everett WA (roughly 1/2 hour north of Seattle)

Is changing the ETACS settings something that dealerships do or is it just aftermarket shops?
