hi guys.

i live in england and have a 2007 outlander 2.0DiD.

it currently has 225/55/18 tyres on stock 18 inch rims.

i want to drop the rims down to 16 inch and fit bigger tyres.

does anyone know what size i can fit under the arches without spacers or mods.

current wheel overall diameter is 27.74 inch if i were to fit 235/70/16 this would go up to 28.95. or could i get even bigger?

OEM 16" rim size is 215/70-16

 

has anyone ever tried bigger though?

 

A few have gone bigger, try searching for "rubbing" and i bet you'll find the old threads.
