Howdy all, been annoyed over and over again by the good old beeping "Possible Icy Roads" warning at a whooping 37F. I live in Iowa, I know better than the damn warning when roads might be icy!!

Anyone found a way to disable this darn thing?

For us, who live in the cold climate, this message is quite frequent. Unfortunately, this message cannot be turned off not even with ETACS programming. Sorry, you just have to get used to it.

 

In a cold climate, hearing that alarm is as unavoidable as hearing CNN at an airport. Just learn to ignore BOTH of them.

 

I have a 2019 Outlander and I get the "Possible Icy Roads" warning every time it rains hard, even in the middle of summer. Unfortunately, sometimes it chimes and flashes on my dashboard every few seconds. This happened once on a roadtrip for more than an hour and I thought I was going to lose my mind. Is there anything I can do?
