well tdford, since the fuse and wires are still in place for the foglamps. If you were to reinstall the switch and relay, then reset the ETACS it should work.

The next question would be do you want really bright DRLs or really dim FOGs?

So what I need is to get the switch which would replace the left stalk, then put the new relay in the fuse box? And to make it work have the dealer reset the ETACS? That doesnt sound to bad. You think you could get me the parts, and let me know how much?

So is there a different bulb/setup for the fogs if being used as DRL's? Whats the difference? My fogs (drl's) are not that dim, as in I wouldnt be to upset leaving them the same brightness.

the foglamp uses a halogen bulb and the DRL uses a bulb that resembles a marker bulb (27w versus 55w)

I would like to orderthe switch and relay then. How hard was the switch to install?

Does the dealer charge for programming the ETACS? What exactly do i ask them to program?

Mitsupartsman.. take some pictures of the parts. I'm curious on the switch setup...
Thanks for your help!!! Man, I want my OEM-HID and Foglights to go on the same time also. It's looks clean with both of them on.
