Get a headset and plug it in your Ipod. just the like the old days.

You cannot share the car speakers at the same time. DVD stock cannot play while the car is in motion only when you're park the dvd will play.

Hello and thank you for your answers.

I plug the ipod to the res aux , I then give the headphnes to my dauther so she can hear the DVD , and this is where I would like to hear the ipod.

What can be done?

Regards

Yes, if your Outie has the RES, then you need to connect your iPod to the AUX inputs of the rear central console, not to the AUX inputs of RES, and select AUX MODE way steering wheel controls. . .

Saludos

I have to try... should work if you plug your ipod in the 2 rca input at the back of the centre console with a y adapter 1/8'' to 2 rca. I did try it once but i don't use my mp3 player in the car, i use the hard drive of the mmcs. Not sure it would work... the only option you have on the mmcs is rear, wich is either the dvd or aux input of the res.

0k, my mistake APACHE2009. Today I did test about it, and isn't possible the operation; when is working RES/AUX simultaneously, and selecting "Rear Dispaly" source on MMCS or Rear Display/AUX on steering controls, are displayed the two sources simultaneously on MMCS, being interference the result.
