DVD in motion patch for NR261UM
Weird... has anybody else run into this issue? The versions are identical to mine (except the Navi & Audio microcomputer versions, but I don't know how that'd affect region coding).
There is a link to the original (unhacked) 00.30.94 image if you want to try reverting back.

The link is on the same website you got the original patch from (which you even posted earlier). Look for 00.30.94, original version.
Yes, I'm running the same patch. I, along with otaku and rcostin, were the original people involved in creating the patch to begin with

Yes, I'm in the US. 08 Lancer GTS. As far as we know, all the "US" models use the "UM" version of the software.
Yeah, in order to "trick" the unit to accepting the update, the update disc has the version faked (bumped one up, i.e. 00.30.95 instead of 00.30.94). This makes it think when it reboots that there's another update ready. But you really only need to do the update once, then just eject the disc.
You might contact your dealer to see if they have an update disc with a version newer than 00.30.94. NOT the map upgrade, just the software version (should be free). If they do have a newer version, copy the disc for us, and we can make a patch for dvd-in-motion for it

BLD-NR-261UM 1.09 / 00.30.97?
About to take my car to the dealership in the next few weeks... I'll check for a software upgrade CD... any idea of a part number to request?
If I pull the drive and mirror/ghost it (not that I have that software available - or the adapter for that matter) would that work also?
