Thumbs up EBC Yellowstuff brake pads

Just replaced the brake pads on my 07 XLS with a set of these and thought I'd post in case anyone else might be reading and considering aftermarket pads. Big thumbs up - they stop the car on a dime whether cold or literally smoking hot. I found that hard driving around the backroads with the stock pads gave me fade issues and/or judder - not so with these EBCs - they just seem to flat out work well. Bit of squeal during initial break in but that went away quick and they are nice and quiet now.

Downsides - Only one I can see is they are going to be a very dusty pad, but that doesn't bother me as a function over form guy. I'm happy!

Did that change at 48k miles (largely trundling 20 miles to work and back plus weekend trips, with the odd spirited drive here and there). The pad material left on the front was about the same thickness as the backing plate, which is when I usually look to switch out pads. Still a reasonable amount of meat on the rear pads, but I thought what the heck, I'll just do them all and be done now. Rotors still in good shape.
