Graphite powder would be a dry lubricant alternative to the WD40 that could also be used.

I was just at the dealer. The service rep said they had to order some parts to fix it. He also said that Mitsubishi knows about this problem and that they have come out with new window parts to address it. I'll be getting them fixed later this week and will keep everyone updated.

Count me in. I was driving my wife's Outlander the other night and lowered the windows.

Then raised them.

But kept on hearing street noise from the rear-left side. WTF? Looked over - the rear left window is half way up.

Eventually it VERY slowly went up. But even then there was a little opening at the top. I had to pull it up by hand when I got home.

For now the rear windows are turned off.
