Default Engine Replacement advice

I’ve got a 2012 DI-D Mitsubishi Outlander 4N14 & have had an oil leak since October 2022. Car is off the road , the mechanic initially diagnosed a leak in the timing chain cover which had an metal epoxy filler. After changing timing chain , timing chain and oil pump seal , and various other bits and bobs it’s still leaking. I’ve even bought a 2nd hand timing chain cover but to no avail. Spent close to £1700 and it’s still leaking.
Are outlanders prone to oil leaks? Current mileage is 93000 miles .Would it just as well to try and source a replacement engine or or give up and buy something else?

Where does it leak from?

I have the same engine, car is from 2013, but was produced in 2012. I have 150000 km, no leaks. There were some minor issues with other parts (intercooler pipe broke, temperature sensor on DPF, alternator's pulley clutch), but 4N14 is going well, no problem. I guess you have to find the source of the leak.
