That's weird if it's only changing one bit that all that other stuff is going wrong... I'll see if I have mine saved when I get home..

Yea, if you could post yours that would be great.

But i don't think the etacs program is setting the ABS or ASC to off. I think it's the car's actual software that sees that TPMS is not there, then throws a fit with ABS and ASC because of it.

I'm not sure, most of the options pull up correctly like 6cylinder, 4wd etc..... But it also shows as a USA(California) car, which it isn't. So i'm not sure if that's normal.

No, that does not work like that.

BTW it is either ABS or ASC. I haven't seen any Mitsu without ASC so ABS should be off, ASC should be on.

Again, that coding line cannot be properly decoded without know the ETACS number. Give me that number and your original coding and I will change it to TPMS disabled.

Regardless of what modules the car has, it still throws alarms for ABS and ASC.

I'll get the etacs number when i get home tonight.

Basically on the 21st digit the 7 turns to a 5, or 0111 becomes 0101.

It's just 1 bit, but for some reason disabling the bit takes out the ABS and ASC as well?? Anyone have any clues.
Etacs number is Hardware version 8637A320
Software version is 637A320-C

Checked it. Everything seems to be correct. The only difference between before and after codings is TPMS

Try writing coding again, there could be a glitch while saving it last time.

I tried it quite a few times already and it still gives the same problem. I tried it again just now, and it still doesn't work. But if i write the car back to the original code, it works and all the lights go away.

Then i tried changing something else like the trip computer autoreset, and the same problem happens. The alarms for ABS and ASC are popping.

I found why the alarms are given, it's because i'm getting a B222C DTC error from the etacs controller. Because of this, it causes ABS and ASC to throw alarms. When i look up B222C, it says the DTC is caused by an incomplete coding error. So i don't know what's going on????

Will this unit be able to tell if an ETACS unit is faulty?

I searched the thread (and forum) for DRL on the US 2016 Outlander. Does anyone have a USA model 2016 Outlander and ETACS that can see if they can be activated? I know a relay is missing but not sure if anything else is. The DRL should have all the bits except the relay. The DRL is essentially the parking lights on the 2016 that comes on at all times. This is the only thing I'm really interested in customizing through ETACS but I want to be sure this works before taking the plunge. Thanks.
