No FAST Key on either the Citroen or the Peugeot version so it will not be in the Lexia 3 capability I suppose.

That is one of the MUT3 difference.

FAST is just our North American marketing term for this feature.
Both brands do have the same keyless capabilities.

Please note this post is related to obsolete Lexia Office software, use Diagbox instead

Playing with all following options can break your car, so do it carefully and on you're own risk.

Steps to get into ETACS customization:
Start Lexia Office, than select C-crosser - Lexia - Diagnosis - Test by function.
Next, choose category. Depending of your selection, you will get ECUs list. You're mostly interested in ETACS, for unknown reason called there "BSI".
So, select BSI - Configuration - Manual configuration
Next, there will be two options - Vehicle configuration and Customer options.
The latter is unwritable in Lexia, it can be modified by PP2000 software or using MMCS.
The first one contains Vehicle options and Default Parameters. Here's you buffet, but be careful, do not change options with unknown as a value - there is no easy way to change them back!

After having option changed press F5 to save, you'll be asked for a code - enter 03114.
Do not switch ignition off until told to do so by instructions on the screen - you can have a ECUs inconsistency problems!

Once again, you're doing it on your own risk, no one else's responsible

Yep, thanks for all the info/testing you have provided.
I am waiting to get my unit...they tried delivering today and yesterday, but I was (obviously) not at home during business hours. Hopefully I can pick it up on the weekend.

Vadimus

Help please. Just got the lexia tool and installing the software is giving me problem.

I have win7 Pro does this thing need XP
I know it does not like Antivirus while installing but running is it OK
After the second install I got an error message about needing Firefox 3 or better from the java add on I'm running, Firefox 6 maybe that's too much.

Also how did you update to 46 after installing 45 my Chinese is not good

I think I will dust an old XP laptop from the bin and try it.

For Lexia I use old 12" laptop with Win XP. AFAIK there's no 64 bit driver for the device.

As for update just let it do itself online.

This as cp from the LEXIA website:

"Hardware and software requirements
Software requires at least Intel Celeron/Pentium III 400 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 50MB free HDD space and USB 1.1 port (USB 2.0 recommended) and Microsoft Windows 98 SR2/2000/XP with the latest service pack installed.
If customer requires, we can prepare ready to work PC."

It doesn't mention Windows7. Windows 7 doesn't like a lot of programs and applications at this current time.

You could probably run it through VMWare/Virtualbox.

I got my unit today, but didn't have time to play with it. Is there any reason to use the Citroen software? The Peugeot Planet software looks better laid out/has more features. Whereas the Citroen seems confusing and has less features?
Anybody figure out what setting allows US Outlander owners to program their own keys/fobs, but not Canadian ones? Must be a setting somewhere. Likewise, TPMS registration should be present as well I would think.

Got it to work (on LEXIA3 so far anyway).

Notes for others...

XP only, hardware or virtual, but XP, no win7, no Vista, at least not native.

LEXIA3 installation :

- Install v 45 first
- Then, navigate all the way the in the PP2000 10A&lexia v46 UP dir and find update_lexia_346.22.exe
- Run this v 46 updater pointing to the same location you chose in the v 45 install

When you are connected to the car and ready run the LEXIA3 icon.

- The v46 upgrade will be performed automatically at that point, simulating a web upgrade.

- Do the activation and make sure you use LEXIA-346 since you are updated

You will do just one activation that way otherwise you need to re-activate after the upgrade.

The same procedure should be used when you install PP2000 for the Peugeot 4007

Experience :

I just initialized the auto lock and it work well but doing so erased the two previous changes I had done manually using the FAST fob.
This is probably normal as the LEXIA3 did not have them registered and just reapplied the default.

I will have more to do so I'll fix them again later.
