Does that mean it won't work period or just some features? I was able to change auto lock, lights etc using Diagbox 7.04 with firmware 4.30 but I can't do anything with Lexia or PP even if I downgrade the f/w.

Lexia/PP2000 is obsolete.
Why do you need it?

 

Not that I wanted to use it, just want to know if there is anything that could only be done with it. With all the discussions in this forum, most refer to using Lexia.

 

It is very confusing. Take you cable. Could you find anything about Lexia on it?
Use Diagbox or ETACS Decoder.
Forget Lexia, it is a profane word.

 

No just the Actia markings. Sticker says made in france but it was not on the unit on arrival.

It should be on the CD with the Diagbox s/w or check PM.

With device connected run the program then hit activate>version.
This shows what it's currently at (V4.3.0 @ACTIA for example)
If you want to change it hit select file then pick which f/w you want then hit downloading. Wait a minute then check version again and you're done
