Arrow Extended Warranty

I was wondering if anyone know any good extended warranties? Are they worth the money or a scam?

I had an extended warranty on my Audi A4. 4 year 100k warranty cost me ~$1,100 when I got it. After owning the car for about 6 months the power steering rack went out and typical Audi dealer charges totaled up to over $1,400 and the warranty covered all but $50 deductible.

Prior to that, I had a GM Protection plan on my GTO that also ran me about $1k but paid for my transmission to be rebuilt. I don't recall the exact amount of the rebuild but I do remember that the warranty more than paid for itself with that car as well.

If you can find a good company for a good price I'd say they are worthwhile. You insure your home and your car, why not buy a little insurance on your motor?

I took out a 3 yr Mitsubishi warranty which gave exactly same cover as the original one.
It cost me about. £600 but was well worth it. Since then had new turbo, ecu and coil spring, all charges covered with no problems. Highly recommended
