factory hitch installation instructions
Has anyone done an installation of the factory mitsubishi hitch on a 2014-2017 outlander? Looking for the written instructions that are provided in the box or some guidance from someone that has done it.

Draw-Tite Hitch 75888 for 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander
Done mine but not factory Mitsubishi hitch MZ314710
It's Draw-Tite Hitch 75888 installed by the dealer. Actually, dealer sent my Outlander to Trailer Hitch Supplier and Vehicle Accessory Specialists in town.

My dealer also had the same Draw-Tite hitch installed at a hitch company across the street when I purchased my vehicle. This came as a surprise as I expected an oem hitch. Unfortunately the Draw-Tite sticks down too far and it bottoms out every time I cross a small drainage ditch on my rural property. If you are planning to install one of these, make sure you don't need a lot of ground clearance.
