Default faulty oxygen sensor
I have a 04 AWD Outlander with 140k miles that has a checkengine light on. The computer is tellingme there is a faulty oxygen sensor in bank 1 sensor 2. I apologize if this is a dumb question, butdoes this mean that the sensor needs to be replaced or does it simply need tobe cleaned? I was not sure if the errorwould trigger if something got clogged in the sensor or not. Thanks.

there really isn't a way to clean an oxygen sensor. you'll need to replace it.

O2 senssors cannot be cleaned. Must be replaced.
