Hey all ive recently bought a 2008 Mitsubishi outlander elegance 2.0 DI. 105k full Mitsubishi service stamps.

The car its self looks great and im very pleased with it. Theres just a few things bugging me and with no mechanical skills or knowledge thought i would join here and see if any one can help.

when i go to start it up after the coil light goes out it seems to take its time to get started and then when it does a puff of smoke comes out of the exhaust.

secondly when i get to around 75 the steering wheel shakes.

and last when i drive over bumby roads i feel a slight knocking in the front wheels. could this be the CV joint?

im looking to to some mods to the car for a bit of light off roading if any one has done anything like this could you show me some pics?
