I have a JDM 2013 Outlander with a J-11 headunit and handfree unit and have recent acquired a NZDM W-12 head unit to replace the J-11. The swap works well but the Bluetooth is not an option despite the handfree unit still being plugged in.

There were two plugs on the wiring loom that do not have corresponding sockets on the W-12 unit. I imagine one is for the rear seat video display which I do not require. I wonder if the other is the reason why the handfree and Bluetooth audio are no longer available.

Does anyone know if there is a way of connecting the hands free unit?
