Need to have my front screen replaced due to a large crack on the passenger side.

My car is an import from Japan and it has heating elements under the front wipers wired in with the heated rear window and mirrors. The glass company are telling me that they can't find replacement glass for my car that has the heating element. Is that correct for a UK spec car?

Does anyone have a UK car with heated front glass that they've had replaced?

The glass company did say they could get a dealer part but it was over 2 grand and my insurance limit is 1,000. But they also sent a fitter out with completely the wrong glass so I have to take whatever they tell me with a pinch of salt.
