Cool Hello From A New Owner

Greetings all. I took delivery of my 2010 Pearl White GT on June 26th. I ran across this forum searching the internet and figured I'd join. Really enjoying my Outlander so far and looking forward to start the modification process.

Just wanted to say hello.

Regards

Thanks for all the "welcomes". I started on my mod path on Saturday by getting my windows tinted (front & rear). Loving the look.

Next up I'm considering yellow bulbs in the fog lights. Not sure whether I'll use direct replacements (Mtec, PIAA, Polarg) or install a HID kit (~3000k).

One thing that stands out about the Outlander (to me anyway) is how quiet it is. While I enjoy it, I would like to give it a little more authoritative of a sound. In looking underneath at the exhaust system, I noticed that the connection between the rear pipe and the muffler is "interesting". I have never seen a layout like this, but what I found in my research was that there would be a great deal of custom work involved or an out of pocket expenditure or over $500 for a direct fit JDM muffler/tip assembly. Has anyone done anything exhaust-wise that they can share?

Seriously... you picked up a white GT on June 26th? So did I! I had mine on order since March!

Yep. Sure did. It was kinda funny how it worked out. When I arrived at the dealership, I parked next to a Pearl White 4 cyl. (not sure of the trim level, I just knew that I wanted a GT w/ NAV) and said "that's the color I want". However there were none on the lot that fit my criteria. The salesman told me he could locate one for me, but neither of us knew at the time that there was one on the showroom floor that was just like I wanted, plus the bonus of the rear DVD player. So that's the one I ended up purchasing. I had the NAV installed a few days later.
