Default HELP airbag removal/ stuck screws?

Hello all.
Im right in the middle of replacing my clockspring. I cant seem to get the airbag T30 screws out far enough to permit the removal of my airbag. I had seen a video that warned of taking the screws completely out, and that they would actually stay in the cover housing. Ive been at it for 20 minutes and the screws keep turning but don't come any further.. airbag is loose but wont come out.. Im not sure if it hangs up via an internal tension clip ?? Should I pull harder or could I damage something? possibly screw points are sticking far enough in to hold slightly?

PS--- I got it off... pulled up on airbag module to allow screw movement..
Thanks
