Default Help choosing tyres please

Hi, I have a Dec 2015 (but new front shape) Outlander 2.2d GX3 auto and need two new front tyres. At the moment I have Toyo R37's on and having called the Mitsubishi dealer he only recommended the same. They told me that I must NOT mix and match the makes. However, I can get a better spec tyre such as the Goodyear Efficientgrip SUV for a much cheaper price at Costco (almost half price!). Should I go for thre Toyo's because the dealer says I must of should I go for the better spec and cheaper Goodyears?
Most of my driving is on the British motorways.
Any advice would be welcome.

thanks

How worn are your rears? Too much difference in rolling diameter front to back can cause problems. Mine has the original Toyos, and they are a somewhat middling tyre. Also, as I found in Arpil when I had a tyre written off with only 3k miles done, they can be difficult to get hold of. The goodyear will be at least as good, see links below.
Ideallly it is best to change all 4 together, but not always practical. I had this issue on my previous Xtrail. I had 4 Crossclimates on my Xtrail and they were very good, bought through Black circles who I can recommend..

Hi, thanks for your reply. My rears are only half worn but as the only tyres I could get for the front were a V rating and the rears were H, I was advided that for a 4x4 they should all be the same. I decided in the end to go with the Goodyear and have just returned from having them fitted. They seems Ok so far.
Cheers
