Default Hole in Rear Signal housing!

Well.... my wife gets to her XLS Outie and sees that some #**$(@ hit the rear left signal light housing and put a hole about the size of a golf ball in it. The dealer wants $512 for a new one and a friend can order it through his dealership (competition) for $409. I wonder if there is a list of part numbers available for the parts to our Outies. I thought I saw it somewhere on here but can't locate it after numerous searches. I'd also like to know if it's worth it or possible to order one out of the U.S.A. . Yup... i'm in Canada - Alberta actually.

Any help would be great.

And don't get me started on that damn radio volume fluctuation....

GOD! 500 and 400 bucks for a tail light? I would try every junk yard first. Ill go back past the shop where I seen a smashed outlander that was missing all of its doors and see if its up for parts for you.

Antlip - you are a god if you find a tail light intact!! I still need to check out some junkyards around here too. I just don't see to many wrecked lately.

You definitely have me crossing my fingers for you

Smurph,... sorry to hear abou your lights. This is the only place i found that sells parts for 2007 outtie. I haven't really bought anything from them, but I think they have what you want for about $290

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...mp;catalogid=2

or to browse 2007 Outlander > Rear lamps > Combination lamps > Combo lamp assy

Good luck,

Hey Ibips,

THanks for the link. That's awesome! I'll have to see if I can get it to Canada without paying crazy brokerage fees. I definitely won't use UPS as others have had orders with them and it would have been cheaper to buy it from the dealer. I have friends in the states who might be able to send it to me though. I'll look into it further after work.

Thanks again
