Default How do I remove the serpentine belt?

Car is an '04 Outlander. I'm pretty sure my alternator is fried. It looks pretty easy to get out - 2 bolts, disconnect some wires. But how do I loosen the belt? I've read that you just loosen the tensioner. I'm familiar with the process from other cars I've had, but the clearance where the belt and pulleys are is very tight, making it difficult to see what exactly I need to do. Anyone know what tool I need, where I need to put it, and which way I need to turn it? Can I do it from the top, or do I need to remove something and do it from the bottom? Thanks for the advice.

It doesn't say how to take off the belt or I wouldn't be asking.
