Default How to Remove 3rd Row Seats

Just trying to reduce the weight of my outlander. I never used the third row seat and probably never will, I think it is fairly heavy 50 - 100lb. Did anyone had it removed? How do you unscrew it?

the word is unbolt. Very few things are screwed onto cars.
Probably some m12 bolts, id guess 6 or so.
Out with the socket set.
In terms of weight reduction: negligible. Buy a smaller car.

I'd be interested in this as well. I wonder if someone sells something to fill the hole that would be left...Any idea?

cargo cage, kitchen, tool box, generator... Theres lots of things that you can put in places.

unbolt anything that looks like it has anything to do with the seats?
